7th Anniversary Gala Newton Cultural Center Concert

A fabulous range of music from folk, jazz, klezmer, classical and gospel traditions with national and internationally known stars including:

Hankus Netsky Hankus Netsky, piano, founder and director of the Klezmer Conservatory Band, composer for film and television who has collaborated with Robin Williams, Joel Grey and Theodore Bikel. Chairs the Contemporary Improvisation Department at New England Conservatory Dominique Eade Dominique Eade, award winning jazz vocalist and composer, recipient of New England Conservatory's Outstanding Alumni Award.
Sayuri Miyamoto Sayuri Miyamoto, piano, teaches and performs with students and professional artists including members of the BSO and Longy School of Music Cercie Miller Cercie Miller, saxophone, National Endowment for the Arts and Boston Music Award winner. Her quartet includes drummer Bob Savine, bass player Dave Clark and Tim Ray
Joel Bard Joel Bard, oboe, until 2011 director of the Repertory Orchestra at the Boston Youth Symphone Orchestra. Lev Friedman Lev Friedman, Singer/Songwriter. Lev, his wife and three daughters are all musicians and sometimes play together.
The Love Tones The Love Tones, An a cappella Gospel Ensemble from Myrtle Baptist Church.
