Writers learn to write by reading and by perseverance. Each week, we will read a short text, focusing on a specific aspect of the craft including openings, point of view, developing characters, and using music to improve our prose. We will do a short exercise–a supportive experience for both new and practicing writers. You will leave with fresh ideas to contemplate for the rest of the day and beyond.
